Privacy Policy

Overload Apps LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the World of Lifting platform at worldoflifting.com and the PR.O workout app (iOS and Android). This policy explains what data we collect across both products, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

By using either product you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using our services.

Account and profile information

• Name or username, email address, and profile photo
• Password (stored as a secure hash — we never see it in plaintext)
• PRO subscription status

Fitness and workout data (PR.O app)

• Workout logs, personal records, and training history you enter
• Health and fitness data synced from Apple Health or Google Fit (only if you grant permission)
• Clan membership and competitive history

User-generated content

• Social feed posts, photos, and comments you publish
• PDF documents you upload to the library as a creator

Purchase and payment data

• Records of PDFs you have purchased, stored in our database
• PRO subscription status as reported by Apple App Store or Google Play
• Payment card details are collected and stored directly by Stripe, Inc. — we never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank account details

Creator / seller data (Stripe Connect)

• If you connect a Stripe account to receive earnings, Stripe collects your identity, tax, and banking information directly under their own privacy policy. We receive only a Stripe account ID and onboarding status.

Usage and device data

• Pages visited, features used, and time spent in the app or on the website
• Device type, operating system, browser, and IP address
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics

Communications

• Messages you send to our support team

The PR.O app may request the following permissions. Each is optional and can be declined without affecting core functionality:

• Camera — to capture photos for your profile or feed posts
• Photo library — to select existing photos
• Microphone — for video content, if applicable
• Health data — to sync workout data with Apple Health or Google Fit

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process purchases and deliver purchased content
• Calculate and pay creator earnings via Stripe Connect
• Personalise your feed, leaderboard, and library experience
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, email verification)
• Respond to support requests
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties and do not use it for advertising targeting.

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Auth), hosted in the United States. We apply reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards — including encrypted connections, access controls, and server-side security rules. No system can guarantee absolute security; if you believe your account has been compromised please contact us immediately.

We share data with the following services only to the extent necessary to operate:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and file storage. firebase.google.com/support/privacy
• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing and creator payouts. stripe.com/privacy
• Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription and purchase validation for the PR.O app
• Vercel — web hosting for worldoflifting.com

You may contact us at any time to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Export your data in a portable format

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful basis for processing is (a) contract performance for account and purchase data, and (b) legitimate interests for analytics and security.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@overloadapps.com.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
